The University of Lahore (UOL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PAHS for the construction of a College campus on 26 Kanals and a campus of the Cornerstone School (affiliated with the University of Cambridge and a project of UOL) on 13 Kanals in society. An MOU is a concisely written agreement in which both parties agree to contribute their efforts to achieve a common objective.
UOL was established in 1999 and is recognized by the Higher Education Commission and IBADAT Educational Trust. UOL functions under the charter of the Government of Punjab. UOL is offering courses in the fields of Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Social Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry and Law. It is one of the largest private sector universities in Pakistan with more than 36,935 students and 7 campuses. It is recognized by the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), Pakistan Bar Council, Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC), Pakistan Nursing Council etc.
UOL Cornerstone School is a project of IBADAT Educational Trust, where the students will be able to seek quality education from Preschool level to O’ levels. The signatories were pleased to sign the MOU and to lay down the foundation of this project in the society. PAHS is grateful to Mr. Awais Raoof (Chairman of UOL) for bringing the light of education to the society through the UOL College Campus and Cornerstone School. UOL and Cornerstone School are the key attractions for investors and potential buyers.
